Are you a Loudoun high school student interested in media, art, writing, publishing and communications? Loudoun Community Press is now accepting applications for its Spring 2022 Cohort. This 9 week program includes hands-on experience covering real stories in Loudoun County and in the D.C. Metro Area. The Spring 2022 Cohort will conduct interviews, write story boards, produce video content, and publish a digital magazine. Students will be mentored by certified teachers, art, government and journalism professionals.
Our cohort graduates have attended D.C. Fashion Week, interviewed Loudoun non-profit and business leaders, interviewed artists, conducted surveys, written travel and product reviews, reviewed restaurants, created event calendars, and interviewed their peers about important work they are doing for the Loudoun community.
