Stage Coach Theatre presents Legally Blonde. The story of Elle Woods, Bel Air’s favorite pink-clad blonde, and her equally stylish Chihuahua, Bruiser. After Elle’s boyfriend dumps her at graduation, she gets accepted into Harvard Law School to win him back, then discovers she has far more legal savvy than she ever imagined.

Studio Bleu Vocal and Performing Arts presents Newsies, Jr. When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.

Music in The Gap is hosting The Talton Brothers on The Gap Stage at Hillsboro’s Historic Old Stone School. Lawn tables and the verandah are available for reservation. Local beers and wine will be served with food trucks opening at 6 p.m.

Ashburn

Cars and Cigars, a car show event, will be on this Saturday, August 13, at 2:00 p.m. in Loudoun Station. The event is described as a “festival vibe” happening on all of Central Station Drive from the Zone to AMC Loudoun Station. Food and drinks will be available for guests to enjoy while checking out the “dope rides.” A live DJ and Ashburn’s School of Rock will provide music. More information is available here.
