Loudoun County Magazine Hosts “Who is Loudoun?”

2020 – 2021 Debut Issue of Loudoun County Magazine

November 19, 2020 – Loudoun County Magazine invites the public to participate in its 2021 Writing and Art Contest, “Who is Loudoun?” Participants of all ages and backgrounds who live and work in Loudoun County are encouraged to share their stories, poems, photographs, and art.

Participants should submit entries to Loudoun County Magazine‘s First Annual “Who is Loudoun?” contest by March 31, 2021. Works must be original and not previously published in print.

Once submissions are received, the Board of Loudoun County Magazine will select entries for its Spring 2021 print and digital issues.

Loudoun County Magazine is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting communities within Loudoun Country through a journalism and literacy program for Loudoun students and residents. 

Our community partners include Loudoun County Public Schools,the Loudoun County Public Library and the Loudoun Literacy Council.

Our publication is dedicated to vibrant Loudoun County and is produced primarily in four parts: by high school students attending Loudoun County Public Schools, writers participating in Loudoun County Public Library’s writing contests, students in classes at the Loudoun Literacy Council, and last, by our Loudoun residents. As an umbrella literacy publication intended to connect Loudoun students and residents and to provide students with an opportunity to explore journalism and media related professions, Loudoun County Magazine is overseen by a Board of Directors dedicated to building community with the publication of a print and digital magazine.

Loudoun County Magazine was established in 2020 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of connecting communities within Loudoun Country through a journalism and literacy program for Loudoun students and residents. Loudoun County Magazine supports and develops writing, language and arts programs which provide opportunities of dialogue and connectivity among members of our community.
