Leesburg

Tickets are on sale for the Loudoun County Fair featuring a full schedule of live entertainment, a carnival and demonstrations with horses, cows, sheep, chicken, and other animals. For more information, visit https://loudouncountyfair.com/

The Loudoun County Fair is located at 17558 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg, VA 20175. The event is ongoing between July 26 and July 30, 2022.

One Loudoun

One Loudoun is hosting a Summer Carnival at Uptown with rides, games, and food. Hours are Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, click here.

Friday

Ashburn

Blend Coffee Bar is hosting Christmas in July. A variety of local artists and vendors will showcase handmade gifts and decor, Balistad’s Beignets will be on site with fresh baked beignets, and there will be real alpacas to meet as well. String Theory will perform live jazz.

Blend Coffee Bar is located at 43170 Southern Walk Plz #120, Ashburn, VA 20148. The event opens at 5 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. There is no admission fee.

Middleburg

The National Sporting Library and Museum is hosting its Open Late Summer Concert series. Tonight’s event features The Knuckle Dusters (Americana). From the NSLM website: Bring your chairs or blanket and enjoy a free concert on the lawn of the National Sporting Library & Museum. The concert and museum admission are free and open to the public from 6 to 8 pm. Picnics are welcome but no glass containers or outside alcohol is permitted. Concessions will be available, and there is free parking onsite. Pets must be leashed.

Saturday

Leesburg

The Town of Leesburg is hosting Acoustic on the Green, a summer concert series featuring Dave Mininberg. His influences run the gamut from Louis Armstrong and Wes Montgomery to Paul Simon, Willie Nelson and Ray Charles. From blues to rock to country to Buffett, Dave covers a lot of ground.

From the Town of Leesburg website: The concerts take place on Saturday evening on Town Green at Leesburg’s Town Hall from 7:00pm – 8:30pm, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the concert would be cancelled and notification would be posted on the Town of Leesburg website and social media Facebook page.

Acoustic on the Green takes places at Leesburg’s Town Hall which is located at 25 W. Market Street

Sterling

The Sterling Foundation is hosting its annual cleanup of Sterling Boulevard at Briar Patch Park. Volunteers are invited to arrive at 8:45 a.m. to pick up supplies and receive an assigned clean up location. Safety vest will be available however volunteers are asked to wear bright clothing for visibility while walking on Sterling Boulevard during the cleanup. At noon, the Sterling Foundation will provide pizza to volunteers at Joe’s Restaurant.
