Auditions for the Sterling Playmakers are being held February 17 and 18. Below is information for audition preparation:
How do I prepare for the audition?
We ask that you prepare 16-32 bars of both a ballad and an upbeat musical theater song that showcase vocal and acting ability.
Will there be an accompanist?
Yes. Please bring a copy of your sheet music for the accompanist in the appropriate key with any cuts marked in advance.
Do I need to be a member of Sterling Playmakers to audition?
You do not need to be a member to audition; however, if you are selected for On That Note, you will need to become a member of Sterling Playmakers asap. Annual membership is $20.
Is there an age requirement?
Performers must be 21 or older.
If I am unable to make the audition dates, can I still arrange an audition?
If you are interested but unable to make an audition time, please contact us at OTN@sterlingplaymakers.org. While we cannot guarantee an audition outside of our dates/times, we may be able to arrange an audition at the director’s discretion.
