
Loudoun County Magazine is hosting a Young Writers and Artists Institute this April 3rd through 7th at the Sterling Community Center for adolescents aged 11 to 14 years. Participants will learn from experienced writers, artists, and photographers and will create an accordion book, mixed media self-portrait, “I am” poems, and metacognitive narrative works. In addition, participants will learn about Loudoun County history in the Sterling region and how it connects to the Washington, D.C. metro area. The program is offered during Loudoun County Public School’s Spring Break on April 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The tuition to attend is $199 for the week.
