The National Sporting Library and Museum provides fine art exhibitions, family activities, and educational programs. Exhibits, library materials and lectures focus on horses, foxhunting, polo, and angling.
The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum offers interactive exhibits that help visitors explore the way of life in Loudoun County beginning with the American Indians and through generations of farmers, tradespeople, and merchants. The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum also includes a one-room schoolhouse.
Great Country Farms is a 400 acre working farm nearby the Blue Ridge Mountains in Bluemont, Virginia. Great Country Farms hosts a number of year round events and festivals such as the Strawberry Jubilee Fest, the Peach Fuzztival, a Cornmaze and Apple Harvest Festival, and a Fall Pumpkin festival.
Algonkian Regional Park, located in Sterling, provides 838 acres of natural wooded areas and paved trails for outdoor activities such as bicyling, camping, fishing, golfing, and hiking. Visitors can also enjoy Algonkian's Volcano Island Waterpark.
This paved trail is known as the "skinniest" park in Virginia. Washington & Old Dominion (W&OD) Railroad Regional Park is a paved trail between Shirlington and Purcellville. This 45-mile route along the former railroad travels into Loudoun County's gorgeous countryside. A 32-mile equestrian gravel trail runs adjacent. Parking is available at multiple entrances to the trail.

The Leesburg Animal Park is a family-owned and operated business with animal residents to meet, pet, and feed. Activities include wagon rides, pony rides, and live animal shows.
Oatlands Historic House and Gardens is an estate operated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark. https://oatlands.org
Dodona Manor is a historic house museum in Leesburg, Virginia. General George C. Marshall and his wife Katherine Marshall lived here from 1941 to 1959. Tours, lectures, events and other educational programs that reflect General Marshall’s vision of leadership are offered year round.
