Hamilton is nestled along scenic Route 7 Business between the bustling towns of Leesburg and Purcellville. Settled by Quakers and established in 1835, the history and longevity of Hamilton can be clearly seen through its mixture of historic and new homes clustered throughout the town. Despite being only one mile long, Hamilton houses multiple small, locally-owned businesses and restaurants and is home to a few hundred residents.
The small and cozy Hamilton Mercantile located off of Hamilton’s main drag was first established in 1977 and offers fresh produce, vitamins and minerals, wine, jams, meat, pasta, and more, and also carries various homemade products supplied by local businesses, such as jewelry and bath bombs. They also serve coffee and kombucha on tap. 341 E Colonial Hwy, Hamilton, VA 20158
