ONE DAY Historic & active Loudoun

Morven Park

Located in one of Loudoun County’s most historical areas sits Morven Park, the site of the world-renowned Morven Park International Equestrian Center and the almost 250-year-old Davis Mansion. Westmoreland Davis, former governor of Virginia from 1918-1922, lived here with his wife Marguerite Davis. Private tours of the Davis Mansion can be booked online outside of the months of January and February, and guests can expect to learn about the history of the house and its inhabitants through the tour. The Morven Park grounds are open every day of the year to the public.

Museum of Hounds and Hunting

The Museum of Hounds and Hunting is located in the north wing of the Davis Mansion. Open since 1985, it is dedicated to preserving the sport of fox hunting and showcases an array of artifacts and artwork depicting the sport.
